I began flyfishing as a child with my father on our farm pond in western Pennsylvania. A move to Wyoming after college cemented my love of fly fishing, fly tying and rod building. I built my first rod back in 2008 while taking a rod building class and have been building rods ever since for myself, friends and family. Since retiring from t
I began flyfishing as a child with my father on our farm pond in western Pennsylvania. A move to Wyoming after college cemented my love of fly fishing, fly tying and rod building. I built my first rod back in 2008 while taking a rod building class and have been building rods ever since for myself, friends and family. Since retiring from the construction industry in 2020 I now have the time to build for others. Living in Chapin SC on Lake Murray I have expanded my custom rod building to include bait casting and spinning rods. So reguardless of the fresh water species of fish you are targeting we have a custom rod for you.
